Our Preschool Teacher -
I am originally from Ohio, though I prefer to say I am a native Washingtonian! My family has backgrounds in art, music, design and engineering all of which have played a big part of shaping who I am. I went to high school in Kirkland, WA and obtained a college degree at the Art Institute of Seattle. My professional background is in project coordination and management with experience in multimedia and the coffee industry. I also own a small event and wedding planning business called Stellar Events, LLC. My interests include baking, traveling, gardening, music and theater. I have also been described as a bit of a coffee/tea/foody nerd! I am also a fan of a pop-culture including sci-fi, fantasy, and attending conventions.
The Hall family has been part of the NHCP family since the 2017/18 school year. We have had two children attend the school and I have held multiple board
positions over the years. Both of our children have thrived and learned so much by attending the school! With our oldest, Owen, now in Kindergarten, we have been able to see first-hand how effective and helpful the co-op preschool is for social development and preparation for our children’s educational future. Hands-on activities that include imaginative play, mixed with an age appropriate educational curriculum, and fostering creativity is the key to a good co-op and I plan to continue this method as the teacher at North Hill Co-op.
